Skinny’s 411 Outings and Adventures

First Spring Hike
This first solo adventure will take us to Spring Mill State Park near Mitchell Indiana. Along the way we will explore a couple interesting places in the area as well as some good food to fuel up on before the hike! Keep in mind that I’m a bit rusty on the camera work and editing, so it can only get better from here!

Enjoying the Holidays
Happy Holidays (there are several this time of year) and keep warm! Get out and go sledding (if there is enough snow) and stay active!

The Beauty of Fall
Fall is upon us and the leaves have started their decent, soon they will be covered in a blanket. As for Skinny, he's still working on the woodshop and studio trying to beat that blanket of snow. The goal is to get the inside finished by spring and be able to host the first outing for members. There will be a winter camp adventure in the works, but it will be sometime in February.

Peak of Summer
Summertime is when we seem to want to get out and enjoy nature with old and new friends. Finding a good spot for “backyard” baseball or any outdoor game to be played with a group is a welcome day for relaxation and comradery. For this outing, we will be reserving a campsite that has lots of room to run! And maybe (if turnouts are good) have some prizes or “trophies” to give out for bringing your “A” game!

Rolling into Summer
Bikepacking is a fun and relaxing way to see the countryside at a slower pace. If you are new to bikepacking, all you need is a bike and something to carry your gear in while peddling! And who knows where you will end up staying for the night. It may be in a campground, or in a remote part of the world that few humans dare to visit. Either way, it is sure to be an adventure you will not soon forget and give you some pretty cool stories too!

Out on the Water
Any member (sign up at tfallsce.com - Members area) with a canoe or kayak is invited for this outing. Summer is a great time to get out on the water to enjoy a lake or river “hike”. Camping will be done from a campground, and we will reserve shoreline sites for attendees. With so many options for lakes with campsites in Southern Indiana, who knows where these will be held!
Springtime Again
Every now and then something happens that makes you say “what”? This isn’t one of those times, it’s just a place holder until the real info gets put in. Until then, head on over to tfallsce, com and become a member to get informed of when the first real outing will take place! As for now, there will be no actual outing scheduled for this spring. Although, I will be going on an adventure at some point and posting the first trail/campsite review.
