Some pages may lead to dead ends, so consider it part of the adventure. Updates roll out when time, weather, and budget allow (usually not in that order).
Update — End of Year Wrap-Up
As 2025 comes to an end, it’s worth asking whether any real progress was made.
Truthfully? There’s more here than it might seem at first glance.
This time last year, the studio was a single block room wrapped in plastic. Today, it stands as a fully framed 960-square-foot building. While the exterior still needs finishing, the interior is dry, enclosed, and usable — even on rainy days.
The goal remains the same:
a fully functional creative space for videos, reviews, and outdoor content.
2026 won’t be about rushing — it’ll be about finishing what was started and putting this space to real use.
The layout is already set, with defined areas for:
Skinny’s desk and office
Cole’s kitchen
A Familiar Flame workshop
Bicycle maintenance
Product photography
Bex / Chex / Sex workout corner
And a dedicated zone for outdoor gear storage, trip packing, layouts, and reviews
Progress hasn’t been fast or flashy — and yes, there have been quiet months — but the project has crossed the line from idea to usable reality.
